1. About PujaRoots

PujaRoots provides a sourcing and purchasing service that helps customers in the United States obtain puja, religious, spiritual, cultural, and related products from India.

Customers may:

  • Submit a list of products they need;

  • Upload a photograph, document, or other reference;

  • Describe a religious ceremony or occasion;

  • Request assistance identifying commonly used items; or

  • Request specific products available in India.

PujaRoots may source products from independent suppliers, retailers, manufacturers, artisans, wholesalers, or other third parties in India.

2. Custom Sourcing Service

Our primary service is to help customers source products based on their individual requirements.

Because many orders are customized, the availability, specifications, color, design, material, packaging, and price of products may vary.

When an exact product requested by a customer is unavailable, PujaRoots may offer a reasonably similar alternative for the customer's approval.

PujaRoots will not intentionally substitute a product with a materially different item without informing the customer where reasonably practicable.

3. Religious and Cultural Information

PujaRoots may provide general information about religious traditions, ceremonies, festivals, and commonly used products.

Such information is provided for general informational purposes only.

Religious practices can vary by family, region, community, tradition, temple, priest, and individual belief.

PujaRoots does not represent that any particular list of products is mandatory or universally required for a religious ceremony.

Customers are responsible for confirming specific religious requirements with their family, priest, temple, or other trusted religious authority where necessary.

4. Quotes and Pricing

For custom orders, PujaRoots may provide a quotation before purchasing or sourcing products.

A quotation may include:

  • Product prices;

  • PujaRoots service or sourcing fee;

  • Shipping charges;

  • Packaging or handling charges, where applicable;

  • Estimated customs duties or taxes, where applicable; and

  • Other applicable charges.

A quotation is generally valid for the period specified in the quotation.

Supplier prices, exchange rates, shipping rates, product availability, customs requirements, and other costs may change.

PujaRoots may need to issue a revised quotation if material changes occur before an order is finalized.

5. PujaRoots Service Fee

PujaRoots may charge a sourcing and service fee, which may initially be $20 per custom order.

The service fee compensates PujaRoots for services including:

  • Reviewing customer requirements;

  • Product research;

  • Supplier communication;

  • Product sourcing;

  • Order coordination;

  • Quality checking;

  • Consolidation and preparation; and

  • Customer support.

The applicable service fee will be displayed or communicated before the customer confirms the order.

The service fee may be non-refundable once sourcing, purchasing, or order processing has begun.

Additional fees may apply to unusually complex, urgent, oversized, or high-value orders where disclosed to the customer in advance.

6. Product Availability

All products are subject to availability.

PujaRoots does not guarantee that a requested product will always be available from Indian suppliers.

If a requested item becomes unavailable, PujaRoots may:

  1. Offer an alternative product;

  2. Remove the item from the order;

  3. Adjust the order price; or

  4. Cancel and refund the affected portion of the order where appropriate.

7. Product Descriptions and Variations

Many products sourced from India may be handmade, artisan-produced, naturally occurring, or individually manufactured.

Minor variations in:

  • Color;

  • Texture;

  • Size;

  • Finish;

  • Pattern;

  • Shape;

  • Weight; or

  • Packaging

may occur.

Such variations do not necessarily constitute a defect.

For products made from natural materials, reasonable natural variation should be expected.

8. Customer Approval

For custom orders, PujaRoots may provide an itemized quotation or order summary for customer approval.

Once the customer approves the order and payment is received, PujaRoots may begin purchasing and sourcing the requested products.

Customers are responsible for reviewing the order details before approval, including:

  • Product descriptions;

  • Quantities;

  • Sizes;

  • Colors;

  • Prices;

  • Shipping information; and

  • Delivery address.

9. Payment

Customers must provide valid and accurate payment information.

PujaRoots may use third-party payment processors to process transactions.

By submitting payment information, you authorize the applicable payment provider to process the transaction according to the approved order.

PujaRoots does not store complete payment card information unless expressly stated in our applicable privacy practices.

10. International Shipping

PujaRoots may ship orders from India to customers in the United States and other destinations where supported.

Delivery times are estimates and are not guaranteed.

International shipments may be affected by:

  • Customs clearance;

  • Carrier delays;

  • Weather;

  • Government restrictions;

  • Incorrect address information;

  • Holidays;

  • High shipment volumes;

  • Security inspections; or

PujaRoots is not responsible for delays caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

11. Customs Duties, Taxes and Import Charges

PujaRoots does not guarantee the exact amount of customs duties or taxes that may ultimately be assessed.

12. Import Restrictions

Customers may be asked to provide photographs, videos, packaging information, and other evidence necessary to investigate the issue.

PujaRoots may provide a replacement, refund, credit, or other appropriate resolution depending on the circumstances.

17. Third-Party Suppliers

PujaRoots may purchase products from independent third-party suppliers.

Although we may conduct reasonable checks, we do not guarantee the continued availability, performance, business practices, or future conduct of any supplier.

PujaRoots remains responsible for fulfilling the customer order to the extent required by applicable law and the terms of the customer's purchase.

18. Intellectual Property

All content on the PujaRoots website, including but not limited to:

  • Logos;

  • Brand names;

  • Text;

  • Graphics;

  • Images;

  • Website design;

  • Software;

  • Product descriptions; and

  • Original content

is owned by or licensed to PujaRoots and may be protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You may not reproduce, modify, distribute, sell, or commercially exploit PujaRoots content without written permission.

19. User-Submitted Content

If you submit photographs, product lists, documents, messages, reviews, or other materials to PujaRoots, you represent that you have the right to provide those materials.
